To add a graphic, click on the 'Graphics' icon in the 'Multimedia' tool. You can choose from our clip art collection or upload your own artwork. When you're done, just click "Add Graphic" and the image will be saved to the page. You can then move it around by clicking, holding, and dragging its blue edit bar.
You can upload your own artwork from your computer. Just click 'Browse' and navigate to the file you want. Then click on the 'Upload' button. We'll tell you when it's been uploaded. You'll now see it listed in 'Your Graphics' and you can use it anywhere in your newscast. If you're going to use an image for one of your articles, click the "Cancel" button after upload is complete. This way, the image is not placed on the page, but it does appear in the "Add an Image" list.
You can also add audio recordings to your page. Just click on the 'Audio' in the 'Multimedia' tool. You'll then be able to upload any mp3 file you want to your page. Just click 'Browse' and navigate to the file you want. Then click on the 'Upload' button. We'll tell you when it's been uploaded. You'll now see it listed in 'Your Audio' and you can use it anywhere in your newscast. There is a limit on the size so try to keep it on the short side.
Feeds are real-time information from a huge array of sources on the Web. When you add one to your page, your readers will be able to see the absolute latest information on many topics. Whenever its author updates the feed, it will automatically be updated on your page. If readers want to read the whole article, they just click on the feed.
To add a feed, you click on the "Live! News" icon. On the left you'll see a list of feeds by topic. If you click on one of them you'll see a sample of the feed's contents on the right.
You can also decide how you want the feed to look on your page. Some feeds have lots of articles; some have only a few. In the "Format" tab you can specify how many you want your readers to see.
